The app may store profile names, language and companion preferences, relationships, memories, conversation transcripts, device identifiers and conversation-minute balances. Voice audio is processed when you use talk mode.
How information is used
We use this information to operate the app, understand speech, generate and speak replies, remember relevant context, manage device-based minutes, provide support and protect the service from misuse.
On-device and service processing
Profile and conversation information may be kept on the device. To provide AI conversation, speech recognition and speech generation, relevant audio, text and context may be transmitted securely to our service providers and processing infrastructure. We share only what is reasonably required to provide these functions.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Users can remove local profiles and their associated local records through the app. Contact us for help with access or deletion requests.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid sharing information they would not want processed by an online AI service.
Children
Theresa is not directed to children. The child-style companion choices are fictional interface characters and do not indicate that the service is intended for child users.
